Yes Car No Car, operated by Backed Wisely Inc., provides informational vehicle-research tools, assessments, reports, and opinions. Its purpose is to help you ask better questions and make a more informed decision. It cannot guarantee a vehicle's mechanical condition, safety, reliability, past history, current value, or future performance.
Before purchasing ANY used vehicle, arrange an in-person, independent pre-purchase inspection by a qualified mechanic you trust. A report cannot see, test-drive, lift, diagnose, or inspect the actual vehicle. Verify VIN, ownership/title or registration, liens where applicable, service and collision history, recall status, mileage, and local legal requirements from original sources. If a seller will not permit an inspection, consider walking away.
A verdict—including a positive or negative recommendation—is an informed assessment made from information available at the time. It is neither a certification nor a warranty that a vehicle is a good buy, a bad buy, defect-free, safe, reliable, or appropriate for you. The car's actual condition may differ from its model's historical patterns and from available records. You remain responsible for your own transaction and decisions.
We may rely on outside databases, public information, market research, and user-provided details. Some accidents, repairs, recalls, mileage issues, title events, and other facts are never reported or are entered late or incorrectly. No record is proof that an event did not occur or that a vehicle is trouble-free. Unless specifically described as refreshed, each report is a point-in-time snapshot.
Repair costs, ownership costs, asking-price assessments, market values, projections, and similar figures are estimates for general guidance. They can differ materially by country, province or state, currency, vehicle specification, market, condition, taxes, labor rates, and timing. Confirm significant expenses with qualified local professionals.
Our material is not a substitute for a licensed mechanic, professional inspector, appraiser, insurer, lawyer, accountant, or other qualified adviser. We do not promise a particular vehicle result or outcome. Our Terms contain applicable disclaimers and limitations of liability, always subject to consumer rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded. This page does not independently create a broader liability exclusion than the Terms permit.
Third parties do not pay us to improve, suppress, or change verdicts. If you see an error, contact support@yescarnocar.com. We encourage you to verify critical details independently and ask a mechanic to examine the specific vehicle before any purchase.
