Yes Car No Car (yescarnocar.com) is a product of BackedWisely Inc., a US-based company. We help people figure out whether owning a car actually makes sense for their life.

What we collect
Right now, the only personal information we collect is your email address — and only if you choose to join our waitlist.
That's it. No name, no phone number, no location, no payment info, no account credentials. Just your email, if you give it to us.
The waitlist form is powered by Tally.so. When you submit the form, your email goes to Tally's servers first. Tally's own privacy policy covers how they handle that submission.
How we use your email
One use, one time: we'll send you a single email when Yes Car No Car launches. That email will let you know the product is live and, if applicable, remind you of any first-500 waitlist pricing you're eligible for — as part of that single launch email.
No marketing spam. We will email you when early access opens — plus essential account communications if you become a customer.
We will never sell your email address. We will never rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers. We won't use it to send newsletters, promotions, or anything beyond that one launch announcement — unless you explicitly opt in to more communications in the future.
Third parties
We use a small number of external services to run this site. Here's what each one touches:
Tally.so — handles the waitlist form submission and stores your email on their platform. See Tally's privacy policy for details on their data practices.
Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces (Inter Tight and Cormorant Garamond) from Google's font CDN. When your browser requests a font file, Google's servers may log your IP address as part of normal CDN operation. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ for details. We don't pass any personal information to Google ourselves.
That's the full list. No advertising networks. No analytics platforms. No social media pixels. No heatmap tools.
Cookies & tracking
We do not set any cookies on this site. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking or analytics scripts.
Tally.so may set a session cookie when you interact with the embedded form. That's governed by Tally's own policy, not ours.
Your rights
You can ask us to remove your email from our waitlist at any time. Just send a message to privacy@yescarnocar.com with the subject "Remove me" and we'll delete your address within 7 days.
If you're in California or another state with specific privacy rights (CCPA, etc.), you have the right to know what data we hold about you and to request deletion. The process is the same — email us and we'll take care of it.
Data security
We take reasonable precautions to protect the data we hold. Because the only data we have is email addresses collected through Tally, most of the security burden is on their platform (which is purpose-built for form handling).
No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. We'll be honest about that. But we keep what we hold to an absolute minimum precisely because we don't want to be responsible for things we don't need.
Children
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe we've received data from a child, contact us at privacy@yescarnocar.com and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change what data we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. We won't bury the changes — if something material shifts, we'll note it clearly.
